Health care for foreign patients

Information about the health care of the foreign patients in the Zsigmondy Vilmos Spa & Hospital in Harkány

 

Citizens of the EU member countries and Island, Lichtenstein, Norway and Switzerland can present their EU card, or their form numbered E112 or S2, so they can take the advantage of the health care services under the same conditions as the Hungarian insured citizens:

 

·     The necessary health care according to their EU card (the immediate care, and the medical care, which will become necessary in three months according to doctor),

·      Planned health care according to their form numbered E112 or S2. To take the planned medical care, the insurer company of the foreign citizen should contribute. The citizen can certify this with the forms numbered E112 or S2.

 

In case of outpatient care:

 

If the foreign citizen has one of the above mentioned documents, the same rules will be used as in case of the Hungarian insured. That is:

·     The patient should have a referral from the family doctor.

·   The patient should make an appointment for the specialist's consultation, without out of turn medical care.

·    The patient will get a prescription and two medical care sheets about the spa services.


In case of inpatient care:

 

·     The foreign patients should have a referral from the family or specialist doctor.

·    Their personal data will be added into the referral managing system.

·     The patient will be added to the public waiting list, list according to the decision of the jury - if not considered as urgent - as the other Hungarian patients.

·     After their invitation to enter, the patient will get the same medical care as the Hungarian insured patients, and their payable additional charges will be the same.


Patient from other countries (not mentioned in the first paragraph) or without the above mentioned forms should pay the price of the medical services, can take the services as paying patients:

If the foreign patient has not got EU card, form numbered E112or S2, he or she have to pay  the paying patient's prices stated in our price list.

 

In return we provide

·     the immediate medical care, and the unscheduled placement

·     the treatments can be scheduled to the appointments reserved for paying patients

·     in case of taking hotel service the price will contain the double room and the full board.
